We have created impressive exterior 3d visualisations for a diverse range of residential and commercial developments across Australia. Below is a summary of the different types of external views we’ve completed for our clients in the past:

• Contemporary apartment buildings – We regularly work on exterior and interior 3d renders for major apartment building developments. The most typical type of apartment project for our studio is for low and mid rise boutique developments that tend to feature 10-20 units, spread across 3-5 levels. We have also completed and number of larger high rise developments that consisted of 10 storeys or more featuring up to 200 units.


• Townhouse units – We deliver exterior 3d hero shots, façade close-ups and garden and courtyard exterior 3d renders for multi-residential townhouse residences. The most typical unit layouts that we get are for two to four units, however we also get requests to work on 3d visualisations for larger estates that may boast in excess of 20-30 townhouse residences.


• Private dwellings – This is a slightly more rare type of project but occasionally we are commissioned to complete 3d architectural renders for single dwelling developments. The majority of these projects tend to be for large, high-end luxury homes with intricate landscape designs and sophisticated interior fit-out schemes. For this type of project, the artist’s impressions are often intended for the owners and architect, in order to aid with the design process.


• Volume builder facades – Cleanpix Graphics frequently supplies 3d façade renders to building companies offering house and land packages to first home buyers, growing families and downsizers. The home designs are typically based on a pre-designed template floor plan layout and is offered to buyers with various façade style options and colours.


• Residential estate streetscapes – These are usually overall hero shots for a multi unit residential estate. The focus is often on the entry interface, showing the landscaping and street-facing units.


• Offices and hospitality – Over the years we have delivered exterior and interior 3d rendering services for various fit-outs for commercial work spaces and hospitality projects like cafes, restaurants and bars. For external visualisations this type of work often comes in the guise of ‘mixed use residential’ where a multi storey apartment building is combined with shops and cafes and offices on the ground floor.


• Aerial view photomontages – For some projects our clients request a bird’s eye view of the proposed development, showing the entire site with the surrounding environment. This is typically done as a photomontage where a high resolution drone photo will be combined with the 3d model and carefully blended together for a seamless result.


• Planning submission 3d renders – Another frequent request for our services is to create exterior 3d renders to accompany an architect’s planning permit submission. The objectives for planning renders differ slightly from marketing renders since the aim is more often to illustrate architectural regulation compliance by comparing attributes like setbacks, heights, overshadowing and neighbourhood character to the overall streetscape.
